Man, who died by suicide during Malis’ protest, cremated

Bharatpur: The body of the man, who died by suicide last week during an ongoing agitation of the Mali community demanding a separate 12 per cent quota, was cremated in his village, police here said on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the talks remained inconclusive on Sunday and the agitation entered the tenth day in Nadbai, Bharatpur. Protesters stood amidst heavy rain and gave speeches. Hundreds of women and men are present at the protest site. Police and administration took help of drones to know the happenings at the site.

OBC commission and Saini committee will meet on Monday for the latter’s demand of 12 per cent reservation. The Saini society has blocked NH-21 in Bharatpur.
