Man who travelled 2700 kms with Rahul welcomed in Jodh

Jodhpur: Congress worker Hemant Kumar Vyas of Jodhpur district Phalodi town stayed with Rahul Gandhi for more than 100 days during the journey of about 2700 km in Bharat Jodo yatra. He reached Jodhpur, where Congress workers warmly welcomed him on Sunday.

Vyas walked with Rahul despite his mother’s heart-related illness and elder father’s dialysis. Being associated with Pushkarna Samaj, Vyas, a connoisseur of chanting, etc., kept on walking without proper clothes with Rahul Gandhi. During this Hemant Kumar Vyas also reduced 20 kg weight. Many videos of discussion with Rahul Gandhi have gone viral in which Vyas and Rahul Gandhi are seen discussing.

Vyas said that CM Ashok Gehlot’s schemes remained the centre of attraction during the entire yatra.
