Owaisi advises Pilot to search for new seat

Tonk: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi reached Tonk on Sunday to explore the political ground for the upcoming Assembly elections. Tonk is the constituency of former deputy CM Sachin Pilot.

In a public meeting organized at Gandhi Khel Maidan Tonk, Owaisi advised Pilot to forget Tonk and find finding a new Gurjardominated seat. He said that his party will contest from 30 seats in the State including Tonk in the upcoming Assembly elections. He also demanded to give 10 percent reservation to Muslims. Owaisi was welcomed in the road show from Bada Kuan to Ghantaghar including Cantonment, Gol Haveli.

Cornering the Congress and the BJP, Owaisi said that at the time of elections both the parties use Muslims as a vote back. He said that the reason for this is that neither in the Parliament nor in the Vidhan Sabha, there is any representation.
