Poonia performs ‘Kanya Pujan’ on Maha Navmi

Banswara: BJP state president Satish Poonia on Tuesday offered prayers at the famous Tripura Sundari temple in Banswara district. He reached Banswara on a two-day visit on Monday evening and was given a warm welcome by the local party leaders and workers. Poonia along with his family members visited the temple on Tuesday on the occasion of Maha Navmi and offered prayers. He prayed for the peace and prosperity in the state. State general secretary Sushil Katara, Banswara-Dungarpur MP Kanakmal Katara, district president Govind Singh Rao, leader of opposition in Nagar Parishad Om Paliwal, and other leaders were also present. Poonia, under the Central Government’s Sukanya Samridhi Yojana, also ordered opening of accounts of girl children.
