‘Rajmata’ Sushila Kumari of erstwhile Bkn royal family consigned to flames
Bikaner: Sushila Kumari, once the princess of Dungarpur and then the queen of Bikaner, was given final farewell on Sunday. From people to members of the erstwhile royal family, everyone was immersed in sorrow.
The funeral procession of Sushila Kumari, known by names like “Data”, “Dadisa” and Maharani Sahiba, started at 11.30 am and reached Sagar via Junagarh, Public Park, Jaipur Road. The eyes of the people who came to participate in the last journey were only towards Siddhi Kumari. Bikaner East MLA Siddhi Kumari was engaged in the service of her grandmother.
During the last rites, Edu Min Dr BD Kalla, Deputy LoP Rajendra Rathore, MLA Bihari Vishnoi, former minister Devi Singh Bhati along with Divisional Commissioner, IG and SP were present.
