Rathore takes suggestions from locals

Jaisalmer: RTDC chairman Dharmendra Rathore reached Jaisalmer in the luxury train Palace on Wheels on the first day of the New Year on Sunday. Rathore visited tourist places and enjoyed boating in Gadisar Sarovar and saw sand dunes from the helicopter joyride in Sam’s Dunes.

Many office bearers and workers of the local Congress welcomed him. Jaisalmer Congress District President Ummaid Singh Tanwar and other office bearers and workers at the railway station also welcomed him.

During his visit, various suggestions related to the further development of tourism were taken from the people including the tourists present there. He also visited the Tanot Mata Temple along the Indo-Pak border with his family and offered special prayers. He discussed with the people living in the border areas and officials of BSF and the administration regarding the possibilities of border tourism.
