V-P Dhankhar unveils ex-Union Min Nathuram Mirdha’s statue

Nagaur: The Vice President, Jagdeep Dhankhar along with his wife, Sudesh Dhankhar offered prayers at Veer Tejaji Temple in Kharnal village of Nagaur and later unveiled the statue of former Union Minister Late Nathuram Mirdha in Merta City on Sunday.

The V-P also addressed a public gathering and said that he will never get such a big opportunity in his life than unveiling the statue of Baba.

“Wrong deeds lead to dangerous consequences and law should not be taken into hands as no one is above the law. I appeal to the youth to stay away from drugs. It is your right to participate in government schemes. Be it agriculture or rural development, we have shown the way to the country and the world,” he added. “Farmers should keep pace with changing times and move ahead with a progressive thought,” he said.

Former MP Jyoti Mirdha, Agriculture Minister Lalchand Kataria, former MLA Richpal Singh Mirdha, former judge Harsukh Punia and other eminent people were also present in the event.
