Designer labels like ‘Felix Bendish’ from Mumbai, ‘Saaj’ by Ankita, ‘Allie Sharma’, and ‘Mayuri Raghuvansi Couture’ were some of the fashion labels that participated in ‘ALW W/F’19’. Also, for the first time, ‘Asia Lifestyle Week’ introduced children-models who walked the ramp with world-class kids fashion designs by the participating designers. Talking about the event, Sanu Srivastava and Manisha Zais, founders of ‘Asia Lifestyle Week’ said, “ We wanted to create a dynamic platform for the top and aspiring designers across Asia, and we think we have achieved what we aimed at. Our second season brought not only variations and versatility through our designers, but also presented some of the hidden talents of our country.”
Rajasthan based Show Director Abhimanyu Singh Tomar, who directed ‘ALW W/F’19’ said, “With our second edition, we also wanted to promote Made-In-India campaign of our honourable PM Modi, by bringing designers who have incorporated India’s traditional fabrics, such as Mangalagiri fabric in their collections, giving a glimpse of the rich Indian heritage”.
