Big matches of BCCI to be played in Jodhpur soon: Vaibhav Gehlot
Jodhpur: Due to the continuous efforts of Rajasthan Cricket Association President Vaibhav Gehlot, a four-day Ranji Trophy match between Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan started on Tuesday at Barkatullah Khan Stadium in Jodhpur. Ranji Trophy match is being played in this stadium after 32 years.
Vaibhav Gehlot got an introduction of the players of both the teams and wished them for the match. Chhattisgarh won the toss and decided to bowl. Ravi Vishnoi also played from Rajasthan. Fast bowler Pradeep Sundaram, who was a cricketer of Indian team, was honoured at the stadium.
RCA President Gehlot said that it is a historic moment when, after 32 years, the domestic level matches have started in Jodhpur. “The hard work of all the people has been involved in this work, the government released the budget and JDA got the stadium ready. This stadium got ready after the RCA team cooperated fully,”.
