HC Bar Assn suspends strike

Prayagraj: The Allahabad High Court Bar Association has suspended the strike which has been going on from February 23 in protest against the Education Services Tribunal and has decided to continue the protest through judicial process.
Judicial works will be restored in the High Court from 12th March.
The resolution for the same was passed by voice vote in the General Assembly of the Bar Association headed by President of the Association, Amarendra Nath Singh and the proposal for postponement was brought forward by the President of the Association himself.
It was also decided that the Committee of Senior Advocates headed by Senior Advocate GK Singh of the Bar Association will act as a party to the PIL under consideration in the Lucknow Bench.
The Bar Association will also present its stand on the petition under consideration in Prayagraj.
High Court Bar Association President Amarendra Nath Singh talking about the decision to postpone said that the protest will be continued in the form of judicial process and that there was no justification for continuing the strike.
