Jaipur: A master trainer programme was conducted by the State Election Commission on Friday at the Secretariat. During the programme, Deputy Secretary of State Election Commission Ashok Jain said that training during the election is the most important part and if it is taken seriously by the trainee, then the difficult task like conducting election becomes very easy. In the workshop, more than 50 master trainers from all over the state were given information related to EVMs by experts of Electronics Corporation of India Limited. Technical and general information related to ‘multi post-single vote’ machine was also explained.
Speaking on the preparations, Deputy Secretary said all preparations regarding upcoming by-elections in the state in are complete.
From October 14 to 23, FLC (First Level Test) of all EVM machines will be conducted by engineers of ECIL and Bharat Electronics Limited.
After this, master trainers will return to their respected areas and train the officers and employees associated with the district level elections about the working of the ‘multi post-single vote’ machine.
