Alwar: Health Minister Raghu Sharma said that the upcoming state Budget will be a boon for Alwar as it will get a fully equipped Mother & Child Hospital. In April the customary bhoomi pujan for the medical college will also pave way for the big facility with an aprox budget of Rs325 crores.
The Alwar General Hospital will be having its own pathology lab for faster diagnosis. Sharma assured of no medical staff shortage.
He was speaking during a free medical checkup and medicine distribution camp that was organised in memory of Mahendra Kumari, mother of former Alwar MP and former central minister Jitendra Singh. Camp attracted people from far off areas of district as the doctors from Delhi and Jaipur were available for consultation. Camp had facility for free medical check up, tests and distribution of medicine. Ragu Sharma, Bhanwar Jitendra Singh, Minister Tikaram Juli and others attended the camp.
Singh praised CM Gehlot’s initiatives and hoped good results for state due to them. He remembered his mother and said that she always wanted Alwar to have best medical facilities. The occasion also saw filling of eye donation forms with Singh taking the lead by pledging his eyes.
