Jaipur: Deputy Chief Minister and PCC chief Sachin Pilot and BJP State President Satish Poonia shared the dais at the Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan held in London. During the event, Pilot invited overseas Indians to invest in Rajasthan.
Addressing Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan organised by Rajasthan Association at the Nehru Center in London, the Deputy CM said that “all of you have increased the pride of the country on foreign soil and from time to time you also give your incomparable contribution to the country which is very commendable”.
“You deserve appreciation because you have kept Indian culture alive even on foreign soil. The overseas Indians present they should strengthen their roots in Rajasthan. Taking advantage of the policies of the State Congress Government, investment should be made in the cities and rural areas of Rajasthan so that their contribution can benefit the state”, said Pilot.
He said that positive policies have been formulated by the state government to invite foreign investment, which is a golden opportunity for overseas Indians to connect with the motherland.
“When I came to know that State Congress President Sachin Pilot will be with me on this platform, we also shared this platform in the interest of nation and state, rising above politics. I urge Sachin Pilot to help Rajasthan Association of UK in the issues on which they want to work in the interest of Rajasthan,” BJP State President Satish Poonia said in his address. Pilot shared the dais with state BJP president Satish Poonia at a special programme by the Global India Initiative (GII) and Association of Rajasthan.
