Jaipur: Deputy CM Sachin Pilot on Wednesday chaired Daang, Magra, Mewat Regional Development Board meeting. The meeting was also attended by ACS (Rural Development & Panchayati Raj) Rajeshwar Singh along with all important department officials, all concerned MLAs and Collectors.

Pilot instructed proper use of allocated budget and also took proposals on schemes to be taken up during next financial year for these politically sensitive areas. The annual action plan of the Board for 2019-20 was unanimously approved in which 273 works worth Rs606 lakh in Dangs Regional Development Plan, 192 works of Rs 769 lakh in the Magra Development Board and Mewat 235 works worth Rs 620 lakh were unanimously approved in the Board.

He said after SC verdict there was no room for confusion as far as the Panchayat elections were concerned and now the path for free and fair election was in sight. Pilot also charged the BJP govt in Delhi of double speak as BJP vehemently opposed any disinvestment when it was in Opposition and now it has hardly left any Navratna company out of the purview of disinvestment despite their profitability.
