Govt doing good work, BJP has nothing to protest about

Jaipur: Health Minister Dr Raghu Sharma said that Congress government has done exceptional work under Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s leadership thus leaving nothing for the BJP to protest.
Speaking to First India, the health minister also ridiculed BJP’s claim that Congress was dogged by internal conflicts.
“Not Congress but it is the BJP, which is the party with differences. It has failed to launch a movement on issues that concern people. We will give a befitting reply to their allegations and also tell people about our achievements,” he claimed.
When asked about BJP’s claim that the party would corner the government on issues of law & order, locust attack that destroyed crops and power tariff hike, Sharma dismissed it saying that government has fulfilled 24% promises in the manifesto within a year.
“We have done great things in health, education, employment and refinery. We have created conducive atmosphere for industries. If the BJP really cares about people it should ask the Central government to get the state its share of Rs 11,000 crore. But, the fact is that it has not even been able to perform its duty as a worthy Opposition,” he said.
If the BJP talks about power tariff than why it couldn’t launch an agitation, he asked.
He said Congress is united under the leadership of Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, which is why it won Assembly by-election and municipal elections whereas the BJP is troubled by differences as someone wanted to become Governor while another one wanted to become leader of opposition and rest are trying to sabotage an established leader.
Sharma said that Congress is united and government is ready under CM Ashok Gehlot’s leadership to tackle the Opposition as our floor management is strong but the BJP is divided.
