Degrees in various disciplines were awarded in the 10th Convocation of Jaipur National University (JNU). A total of about 1950 students, including 75 Ph.D. degrees were awarded in the grand convocation held at the Medical College Ground on the JNU Main Campus. Also, 55 toppers were awarded gold medals and certificates. The Union HRD Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhariyal ‘Nishank praised’ JNU for awarding 75% degrees to girls. In his convocation address, he said that in the 21st century, India is emerging as a nation full of youth energy. Only young power can change the destiny of the country. Rajasthan’s Higher Education Minister Bhanwar Singh Bhati said that the future of the country is built only in educational institutions.
In presidential convocation speech, Chancellor Dr. Sandeep Bakshi congratulated the talents who got the degree and said that they should be capable enough to face any challenges in life. On this occasion, Jaipur MP Ramcharan Bohra said that education and knowledge skills for the maximum service of humanity, only then the degree will have real significance. Vice-Chancellor Prof. HN Verma gave information about all-round progress in the University. He said that the university is world-class due to its education, research, technical, basic structure and placement, due to which more and more trend of children is continuously increasing for admission in this university.
