Progressive Writers Association of Rajasthan, is going to organise a literature festival ‘Parallel Literature Festival’ (PLF) from February 21 to 23 at Shilpgram in Jawahar Kala Kendra. Like every literature festival, this one also packs in a whole bunch of fun-filled activities, seminars, talks and debates to partake in, among many other things.
PLF Chief Convenor Ishamadhu Talwar informed that the third edition of literature fest will begin with the compositions of renowned poets like Naresh Saxena, Rajesh Joshi, Uday Prakash, Manglesh Dabral, Mamta Kalia and Liladhar Mandloi among others.
In the session ‘North-East of Poetry’, poets from Assam, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh will present their creations. The session ‘In the lap of the Himalayas’ will feature Hindi and Nepali poems, wherein the session ‘Hindi-Urdu Adab Ki Nadiyan’ will feature a Mushaira by the famous poet Sheen Kaaf Nizam.
An interesting story session ‘Meri Kahani, Mere Kirdaar’ will also take place during the event, in which noted storytellers Dhirendra Asthana, Harish Pathak, Mahesh Katare, Jayanandan, Usha Raje Saxena, Oma Sharma and Neetu Mukul will narrate the story of ‘developing characters in a story’.
During the event, the missing chapter of Hindi cinema before the partition will also be discussed by noted film critic Ajay Brahmatmaj.
