Pilot meets newly-elected sarpanch during Tonk tour

Tonk: Deputy CM Sachin Pilot on Wednesday met newly-elected sarpanch from Tonk district who had gathered at Bharni village. Pilot was exhilarated at meeting all the sarpanch after their election as he had met them once prior to the election. He expressed his happiness at the number of youth and women sarpanch and said that he was sure that they would ensure complete development of their areas. Pilot reminded them that the MLAs and MPS have a limited quota but there is no limit for a sarpanch so they should make full use of this opportunity. He assured everybody his full support as the local MLA. He lambasted the Modi govt for increasing LPG prices by Rs150 soon after the Delhi election results were declared. Pilot assured that Congress will not let anybody disturb the reservation policy and will take steps to get Modi govt out of slumber.

He announced that Rs8 crore will be spent on Dakhiya & Chandlai Dams and will also get other water sources renovated. He also distributed Gargi prizes during his visit and assured the students of better school buildings.
Pilot was deeply upset at news of death of a father & daughter by a gravel dumper. He assured of a proper action against the culprit. Earlier Pilot was ceremoniously welcomed by Bharni sarpanch Mukesh Meena, district president Laxman Gata and Saudi Saeed were also present during his Pilot’s visit.
