Barmer: Former CM Vasundhara Raje reached Barmer on her scheduled two day visit, on Wednesday.
She was welcomed by local party leaders. Raje went to Late Tan Singh Chohan’s residence to pay homage to the departed social worker. She also paid a visit to Congress MLA Mevaram Jain’s home to offer condolence on his mother’s demise.
She also visited Nandi Gaushala where she fed the cows. Raje condoled the family of Late RSS Pracharak Pukhraj Gupta. Later she visited BJP leader Jalam Singh Rawlot’s home to offer her condolences on the demise of his mother.
All throughout former BJP minister Yunus Khan, BJP district president Aaduram Meghwal, Tarun Rai Kaga, former UIT chairperson Priyanka Chaudhary and many party functionaries accompanied her. She also went to the locust affected farmers of Koja village in Gudamalani and promised them all possible help. Raje visit also included a visit to local Viratara Mata Temple and the samadhi of Mohanpuri Maharaj at Taratari village.
