Jaipur: Chief Secretary DB Gupta took review meeting pertaining to the programmes for the upcoming Constitution Day and Harmony Day at Secretariat. In the meet, the accountability of the departments was fixed regarding the Constitution Day programmes which will be held between November 26 and April 14. Every year November 26 is celebrated as the Constitution Day, whereas April 14 is the birth anniversary of Babasaheb Ambedkar.
School Education Department will ensure recitation of pledge during prayer meetings. Moreover, seminar, debates, quiz competitions and other programmes on Babasaheb Ambedkar, Constitution and Fundamental Duties will be held.
Pledges will also be administered at Gram Sabha at the Panchayati Raj Department level.
Women and Child Development Department will give instructions and administer pledge to Anganwadi workers and self-help groups.
Spreading the awareness, DIPR will increase the reach of programmes through press meets. On radio and electronic media, it will give ads, publication of special articles and interview of select personalities on AIR and Doordarshan.
Tourism Department will organise runs and other events.
District and state level Bar Council will hold seminars and talks.
Legal Aid Services i.e. RALSA will organise awareness camp in which citizens will be enlightened about their duty towards country.
Nehru Youth Center and Youth Affairs Department will conduct walks, rallies and other programmes.
